Welcome to B H Macon Elementary School, also known as “The Little Harvard on Holcomb.”  We are excited that you have chosen B H Macon to be your child’s school, and please know that we are committed to the academic and social emotional success of your child.  Serving the community of Pleasant Grove for 72 years, we have established a foundation in Reading/Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies that will continue to build as your students move from PK3 to 5^th grade.  Each year will serve in developing your child’s abilities to read, write, problem solve, explore, engage, and collaborate with classmates in order to develop the skills needed to be productive citizens not only in Dallas, TX, but also the world.

Our Mission is “to value the individual child, to promote self-esteem, and to provide an education of excellence in a safe and nurturing environment.”

And our Vision is “to equip Macon scholars with the knowledge, skills, and tenacity to enter college, the workforce, and a trade with 21^st century skills.”
